Bahay Tuluyan aims to increase the ability of individuals to become independent and self-reliant. We also recognize the importance of ensuring that the organization is self-reliant.
Accordingly, we operate several social enterprises that provide opportunities for the young people we work with to receive training and income in a just and supportive context. At the same time these projects generate funds to support our work and help us become more financially sustainable.
We recognize the importance of providing children with training and guidance about saving and managing money. Children involved in our programs are assisted to set up bank accounts and are given incentives and assistance to save money for their future.
Bahay Tuluyan seeks to adhere to fair trade principles across all of its social enterprises. Please see the Social Enterprises menu to learn more.
